Dear educators,

Happy spring! I hope you and your students are enjoying the milder temperatures and longer days.

We are gearing up for Earth Day and Arbor Day and have several visits scheduled with area schools. In this newsletter, we will discuss those efforts and how you can get copies of our completely refreshed and updated Earth Day Every Day Fun Book.

We have information on the story cloth coloring books and how you can get copies ahead of Hmong Day and Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

MGE’s Gloria Castillo Posada of our School Partnerships team shares La Lotería de la Energía (Energy Bingo), a dynamic new resource she will be using to teach students about energy while celebrating cultural heritage.

Also, learn about the “Read Your Heart Out” event, which commemorated Black History Month and highlighted energy literacy.

Our partners at KEEP are introducing students to exciting energy careers with resources, including Cool Career Day, Slipstream and Energy Career Fairs, and the Wisconsin Energy Partnership.

Our team looks forward to seeing you out in the community this spring and summer! Please reach out to eduservices@mge.com to request resources; to share any questions, comments or suggestions; or ways MGE can better serve your energy education needs.

In community,

Mario Garcia Sierra and the MGE School Partnerships team
