Celebrate Earth Day with Our New Fun Book

Our partnership with schools is one of the many ways MGE engages our community in energy literacy and sustainability. This year, our School Partnerships team is offering a new Earth Day Every Day Fun Book for elementary school-aged students. It highlights the history of Earth Day, energy efficiency, renewable energy, electric vehicles and more.

The Fun Book includes interactive activities, vibrant illustrations and accessible information to engage young learners. Educators can utilize this tool to inspire students to take meaningful actions toward protecting the environment and saving energy.

To order free copies of the Earth Day Every Day Fun Book, please email eduservices@mge.com with your name, mailing address and the number of copies requested. We will mail them to you at no charge.

Engage with MGE

MGE partners with schools across our service area to celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day. This year, we are excited to partner with Aldo Leopold Elementary School, Lakeview Elementary School, Nuestro Mundo Community School, Shorewood Hills Elementary School and Badger Rock Middle School to engage students in energy efficiency, conservation and sustainability.

The MGE School Partnerships team will be on hand to teach students about simple, everyday actions they can take to live more sustainably, such as planting trees, conserving energy and water, and recycling. By engaging in hands-on activities to learn how our energy is generated, distributed and used at home, students are prepared to become better energy stewards.
