Energy Day: Discovering Energy and Career Pathways

MGE and community partners gave middle school students a unique opportunity to explore various aspects of energy this summer during Energy Day. The event was part of a weeklong STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) Camp, which engages students in educational pathways that lead to careers in STEAM. 

MGE’s school partnerships team, engineers, electric and gas operations, and other staff helped students understand how energy is distributed throughout our community and shared their career journeys in STEAM fields. 

Strang Architects of Madison partners with the Urban League of Greater Madison to bring STEAM Camp to MGE and other local organizations.
