Giving Back to Our Community

This report captures some of the ways in which we give, partner and work to support the communities we are privileged to serve. Our hope is to provide some examples that illustrate the numerous activities through which we have been honored to give back to our communities in 2021 and 2022.

Madison Gas and Electric’s (MGE) commitment to those we serve extends far beyond safe, reliable energy. As your community energy company, we are committed to improving the quality of life for all who live and work here. We contribute to and help to better our community in three different ways, as demonstrated through examples in this annual report:
  • Charitable giving by the MGE Foundation.
  • Corporate giving by MGE through partnerships, collaborations and projects with local organizations and stakeholders.
  • Volunteerism and service of our valued employees.
