Connect with MGE at the Youth Climate Conference

MGE is one of 20 community organizations participating in the fourth annual Dane County Youth Climate Conference on Saturday, Nov. 16. Youth and educators from more than 20 high schools and colleges around the state will meet at Madison College to learn more about “Building a Sustainable Future,” this year’s conference theme. 

This conference is unique in that it’s run by students for students. Students lead the conference for their peers, setting the agenda and moderating and speaking throughout the day. School organizations and individual students are invited to share their energy, environmental and climate stories through brief presentations. 

Participants will have the opportunity to engage with students and organizations through discussion groups at the Idea Fair and Q&A sessions. Student advisors are welcome to participate.

MGE is a proud sponsor of the 2024 Dane County Youth Climate Conference. The conference runs from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and offers free admission, lunch and parking for youth. To learn more, visit the Youth Climate Conference web page.
