Payment questions

You can make your bill payments at MGE's drop box or payment kiosk, both located outside of our Madison office along Railroad Street.
You also may use a number of pay stations throughout Crawford, Dane and Vernon counties.

You can view and pay your MGE bill online by logging in to My Account. Plus, save time and paper by choosing the Paperless Billing option in My Account to receive your bill notifications in your email!
Yes. You can pay with a debit or credit card online in My Account or by phone. To pay by phone, call 1-877-253-0151 and provide:
- Your MGE account number.
- The amount you want to pay.
- The method of payment along with the zip code of the mailing address for your credit/debit card.
You can check your payment status 24/7:
- Log in to My Account if you have an online account. (Sign up if you are new.)
- Or, check by phone at 608-252-7080.
You also may call MGE's automated system at 608-252-4700 and press 1. You'll need your MGE account number and Personal Identification Number (PIN).
If those two options don't work for you, call MGE's Customer Services Department at 608-252-7222 Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please have your PIN available when calling.

- More days in the billing cycle.

- Warmer weather (i.e., air-conditioning use).
