2024 MGE Falcons Prepare for Flight

The three young falcons in MGE's nesting box atop Blount Generating Station are growing fast, with most of their fluffy white fuzz replaced with adult feathers. We expect the birds to fledge—or take their first flights—within the next few weeks.

Due to extenuating circumstances, the 2024 falcons were not able to be banded by our peregrine falcon expert, and they unfortunately were not named.
