MGE recently unveiled a new website. Here’s a snapshot of what's changed, along with a few frequently asked questions

Updated appearance and menu 

The biggest change is how the website looks.  

  • We updated the overall look and design, but it should feel familiar with our MGE brand throughout the site.
  • We introduced improved menu functionality. This will help smartphone and mobile device users better navigate the site to get what they need more quickly and easily.

Frequently asked questions

MGE’s website was ready for a refresh. Plus, the behind-the-scenes technology we use to manage the site was due for an upgrade. We decided it was a good time to make several design updates to provide a more modern site to enhance our customers’ overall experience. The new website is easier to use for customers of varying abilities, on both desktop and mobile devices.

Part of the redesign process was to review our website content and take advantage of opportunities to condense information. The same information is available, but it’s arranged a bit differently.  

With fewer than half as many web pages, the redesigned site has been reorganized into five menu items at the top of the site, with an enhanced footer at the bottom. These changes were tested with hundreds of customers and are designed to make it easier for you to navigate the site. 

If you visit a link pointing to a page on the old mge.com, you will be redirected to the new web page.

Like the previous version of mge.com, our site is available in English, with several pages translated into Spanish and Hmong. 

No, we currently do not offer a chat option. Please refer to the Contact Us section for MGE contact information.
