Outage Notifications

MGE customers can opt to receive text, email and/or automated voice call notifications if the power goes out at their home or business. Outage notifications provide the outage time and estimated restoration time.

To enroll:

  1. Log in to or register at My Account.
  2. Select My Account Profile and then Outage Notifications.
  3. On the Outage Notifications screen, enter the phone numbers and/or email addresses where you'd like to receive notifications.
  4. Save. You can add or change your notification preferences at any time in My Account.

Please note: Changes to your My Account contact information do not automatically populate your Outage Notifications contact information. Please review your contact information and update it, if needed, in BOTH your My Account Profile and Outage Notifications settings.
