Partnerships with Libraries

MGE provides area public libraries with materials to meet our customers where they are with energy safety, energy efficiency, conservation and energy assistance resources. 

Customers also can use library computers to access energy-saving tools and tips available on mge.com. 

Portable energy meters

You can borrow a portable energy meter, just like you would a book, to measure electric use, determine the cost of operating appliances, identify potential causes of high energy use and more. MGE has donated many of these popular meters to area libraries. 

Find and/or reserve a meter online by searching "Portable Energy Meter" in your library system's online catalog.
