Can I still apply if there are no openings that I'm interested in right now?

Sorry. We only accept applications for posted job openings.

Can I mail you my resume or send it to you in an e-mail?

Sorry. We do not accept resumes or applications that are faxed or mailed. Please use our online application system to apply for an MGE position.

What information do you need in an application?

• Your contact information including current address, phone and e-mail
• A complete and up-to-date education history
• Your work experience history

What if I don't have a computer or e-mail?

We need a valid e-mail address. That's how we communicate with you. If you don't have a valid e-mail, visit a local library to use their computers for free. Then, set up a free e-mail account. You can learn about several Web-based e-mail provider options at emailaddresses.com.

Will I be able to update my online application or resume after I submit it?

Yes. You can update your profile by entering your username and password and clicking on the "profile" tab.

What if I forget my password for your application system?

When you return to this site, your log-in is the e-mail address and password you originally entered. If you don't remember your password, click on the "Forgot Your Password" link, and we'll send your password to your e-mail address.

Is your online application system secure?

Yes. The information you send us will be encrypted.

How can I be sure that MGE received my online application?

You will receive an e-mail confirmation. If you do not, check to be sure you attached your resume to an open position. If your qualifications match the position, we'll contact you to schedule an interview.

Will you conduct a background check as part of the application?

Yes. We will complete a background check on all final candidates.

Can I apply for more than one position at a time?

Yes. If you are qualified and interested, you can apply for more than one opening at a time.

Will you consider my online application for other open positions?

Sorry. Please submit a new application for each position you are interested in. If you've registered before, you can use your previously created profile by logging in as an existing applicant.

Will your online application system accept the formatting of my resume?

It might. But don't be concerned about the formatting. We use the text to screen your application.
